About the event

Our Summer picnic event is a lovely way to see the sanctuary, catch up with bird friends, and support the life-long care and work we're doing here! So grab a friend or two, make a vegan picnic to enjoy, and know you'll end the day feeling good. We'll have music, amazing baked goods from Fox Valley Vegan Bake Sale, games, and GPBS merchandise for sale.

  • we are a  vegan sanctuary, please do not bring non-vegan food/drink onto the  property out of respect of the residents and our mission
  • companion animals are not permitted on the property
  • this is a free event, but donations are appreciated
